Caution before purchasing this battery pack check the size May 4, 2004

Summary: This battery pack may not be suitable for everyone due to the large depth of the pack and proximity to the viewfinder.
Reviewer: Canon MV630i (Camcorder) userI wanted a much larger battery pack as the standard pack provided with the digital camcorder (BP508) hardly gives an hour of use. The BP535 should give 3-4 times the usage (hint: the last 2 digits of the pack number is 100th of the mA/h - the power - of the battery. Thus a BP508 gives 800mA/h, a BP522 gives 2200 mA/h - etc.) Unfortunately the BP535 is so large that it extends a too far beyond the back of the camera and the viewfinder cannot be used in "straight ahead" mode. If this is doesn't worry you (you can use the viewfinder at an angle or use the LCD screen), then get the product. Otherwise I suggest you get a smaller pack (or two!) such as the BP522 or BP511 (and perhaps a car-charger).
