Product Description
This PowerPlanet Digital Camera/Camcorder Battery Charger features a UK 3 pin plug to charge from 100-240v 50/60Hz mains plus a car cigar lighter adapter, allowing you to charge on the move. The charger has a LED to indicate charging in process and changes colour to show the fully charged state. It will charge Sony branded batteries as well as equivalent non-branded replacement batteries.

I purchased this charger at the same time as I bought a new Sony camcorder as the camcorder came without an external charger. The charger works exactly as it should and the charge time is fast. In my opinion if you have a camcorder you really cannot do without an external charger. This one is efficient and relatively inexpensive.

I got this as the camcorder only came with lead to charge the battery while still on the camcorder. This charges the batteries quite fast but best of all is the fact that I can now use the camcorder while I have other batteries on charge so is always ready to use without fussing about or using half charged batteries.
I am surprised with Sony that the cost of the camcorder compared to the cost of these units that a free charger wasn't included with the thing in the first place, although if they did that people wouldn't buy there high priced branded charger.
Over all this was an excellent buy and highly recommended.
